Description
Another amazing feeding product from Trickle Net.
The Trickle Net Small Bale net has been designed to fit snugly over a standard bale of hay. The fixing kit included enables you to roll, fold and stitch the open end securely closed. Or thread the long rope, and hang it as a monster hay net.
We have used our usual top quality robust materials to produce a mammoth net which will trickle feed a lot of forage for a very long time!
Ideal for barefoot horses on the yard or in the field. The Trickle Net small bale net will keep them feeding for extensive periods of time. Perfect for use with multiple horses. Can be hung between posts, from trees, secured onto fence posts or left loose for the ponies to play with!
Please note, we do not recommend shod horses use the bale net on the ground. You can secure the bale net into a bath or tub to prevent any chance of a clench catching the material.
Please also note that this is a big net! While a standard bale will fit snugly into the net without cutting strings, larger bales may need to be broken up to fill the net.

Absolutely brilliant net! Tough and sturdy and keeps my boys munching for a full 24 hours when a bale might only usually last 12 hours due to wastage etc. I have 2 now and will be buying more soon.

Great idea. We have used ours in field all winter. Has massively reduced waste, stops hay blowing away and makes a bale last 2-3 days.
Our challenge is it is very tight on our small bales so can be frustrating to fill. Great product though.

Absolutely brilliant nets, I’ve two horses who live out and hay blowing away and being trampled on is a constant problem. There is nowhere to hang nets so ground feeding is a must. This net has doubled the amount of time it takes my greedy mare to eat a small bale of hay (usually a bale a day to a bale every 2-3 days). I’ve seen her pawing at the net dragging it around the filed and no damage has been done to the net. Was a little fiddly to fasten first couple of times but now the net is softening and I’m getting the hang of it it doesn’t take long at all. I’ve also bought the large bale net but yet to use it and another small bale and a haynet to hopefully keep them occupied and well fed over winter!

I was recommended to try one of these nets , I was in 2 minds because of the price and if it didn’t work the way it says I would be out of pocket, so I readed the reviews and they convinced me to get one to try and I’m glad I have .
My boys live out all year round so this will help save waste of hay , especially when one of my boys are dirty , I have had to hook the net off the ground as my dirty boy was still soiling On the hay in the net now I have tied it up high the net is working a treat.
The only thing that I didn’t like was there wasn’t any instructions how to string or how to use the the extra strings to hang up the net , so instructions would be a great help .once you get the hang of How you need to sting up the hay net it’s easy.
I would recommend getting one of these nets as it saves on lots of wastage .
The only reason I have given it a 4* was because there wasn’t any instructions to explain how to string the net and how to hang it up if I wanted to .
